The Bible has quite a bit to say about what we eat, and a little about exercise, and it is an often neglected part of a preacher's sermon repertoire (probably because most of them are overweight due to over indulgence), but one that is critical to a person in a full time ministry who needs to be fit and energetic to have good stamina to be effective for God.
Naturally, since I was in special forces, and went through some of the most rigorous physical training known to any military unit on earth, such training requires a good knowledge of exercise and eating tips.***
There are many "quick fixes" like P-90X, Insanity, that promise results in 30-60 days. I will discuss why many of these programs can be DANGEROUS, and counter-productive. I will also discuss some of the 'celebrity' type of programs like Weight Watchers, and "SEALfit" which although has some improved techniques for staying in shape, is beginning to introduce a lot of New Age mental gymnastics that are spiritually dangerous to a Bible believing Christian. I will also discuss martial arts as well. I have a 3rd degree black belt in Chin Mu Kwan Taekwan-do, and "Gracie" style Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu, and I don't recommend martial arts for a Christian without the supervision of a Bible believer trained in it who knows the difference between the actual physical defense techniques, and the occultic spiritual side to many of the forms.
I will also discuss vitamin supplements- which hopefully I can get my good friend Dr. Scott Johnson to participate in-what is too much, too little, iridology, and where to get the best vitamins and minerals from which food sources.
I will also cover weight lifting strategies, creatine, amino acids, what is ATP in fueling muscles and how to safely use N.O. products (Nitric Oxide), protein requirements, etc.. The difference between weight lifting and body building (which can become idolatrous), and how much exercise is too much.
Your body belongs to God,and you should treat it as such. It is hard to serve the Lord when your laziness leads to a prolonged slumber and folding of the hands, and you sleep most of your days away, or have no energy for you family and ministry. Hopefully, this section will help you get over that, and set some goals to improve your health.

***I have avoided discussing this topic because critics have attempted to dig more into my background U.S. and Israeli special forces than they care about anything else I've said. And, those of us that have proven ourselves in those fields know exactly why we don't need to talk about it, tell war stories, brag about our experiences, and why we tend to remain "in the shadows" when it comes to even admitting we were involved in any kind of special operations groups (especially with the targeting of SEALS in Benghazi, Iraq, the Bin Laden raid in Pakistan, and the assassination of Chris Kyle, the result of clear leaks coming from the U.S White House and Pentagon). Those who understand the need for strict OpSec "get" why we remain silent, and why you rarely ever 'hear' me talking about it. I'm only mentioning now because now my LACK of discussing it is being used against my by a few idiotic anti-fundy critics-Go figure!
